Summer Camp: Company Gathering That Brings Together Teams
Sennder Summer Camp (SSC) is a five-day annual gathering where teams from 11 European offices come together in Ostuni, Italy. The event focuses on aligning strategy, exploring the future of road logistics, and building strong bonds.
In the afternoons and on the weekend the agenda offers something for everyone—from energetic team sports and moments of relaxation on the beach to celebrating shared successes under the Italian sun—or moon. As one of the team members put it, This is the glue that keeps the culture alive.

Sennder’s Goal: Take the Summer Camp atmosphere to the next level
Sennder wanted to improve entertainment part of the event to create more engaging and memorable experiences for their employees.Here's Our Approach, in a Nutshell:
Unique Main Stage Design
We decided to go with the festival mood and created a one-of-a-kind setup that perfectly matched the event’s main stage, an old quarry called “The Cave”, resulting in an unforgettable atmosphere and great visual impact.
Curation of DJs and Scheduling
We curated a diverse lineup of DJs to match each evening’s theme, featuring Latin music, house beats, and 2000s nostalgia.
Curation of Visuals for Each DJ
To enhance the artists' performances, we prepared visuals for each DJ set, as well as designed custom company animations to strengthen the brand presence throughout the evening's entertainment.
Lighting Concept
We believe that lighting is a key element in setting the mood. Thus we prepared a custom lighting concept for every night, to emphasise the theme of each night.
Special Surprise Moments
Alongside sennder’s team, we added special touches: a morning wake-up DJ van, a local brass band, and circus performers during an outdoor street food dinner.
Comprehensive On-Site Support for 3 Stages
We handled all technical and logistical aspects, including sound checks, coordination with the technical production team, and full artist support throughout the event.
Backup Stage Preparation
Additionally, a backup plan was put in place, including an extra stage that thankfully went unused, to ensure the event ran smoothly despite any weather disruptions.
Support with Artist Content Creation: Audio & Video Recordings
To support the artists, we also produced audio and video content that could be used for social media promotion and portfolio showcases.
Behind the Scenes: The Full Story
Over a month-long collaboration, Kitty Circus helped transform Sennder’s Summer Camp 2024 nightlife into an unforgettable experience. From ideation to execution, we ensured every detail came together to bring the vision to life.
Inspired by the idea of a festival atmosphere, we designed a custom stage tailored to the event’s unique location—an old quarry known as “The Cave.” For the first time in Summer Camp history, LED screen elements were introduced, strategically tilted at 45° to enhance the visual impact while preserving the cave’s natural beauty. The result? A striking, immersive setting that elevated the entire experience.
We curated a diverse lineup of 12 DJs, seamlessly blending Latin beats, house music, and nostalgic 2000s hits to match each evening’s theme. Each set was paired with custom visuals to amplify the performances and keep the energy high. Additionally, company visuals were incorporated to strengthen Sennder’s brand presence throughout the night.
Beyond the stage, we worked with the Sennder team to create surprise moments that made the event truly special—a DJ van wake-up call, a brass band performance, and circus entertainers weaving through an outdoor street food dinner. These unique touches turned great nights into unforgettable ones.
While Summer Camp’s days were focused on strategy and collaboration, the nights were all about music and celebration. Sennder wanted to elevate the nightlife experience, and we delivered—from stage design and artist curation to seamless production and on-site coordination. Working under tight deadlines, we ensured everything ran smoothly, creating a nightlife experience that will be hard to top next year.
Hear It from the Team
Sennder Summer Camp is a unique event that brings together employees from 11 offices to one location in the south of Europe. Only a few companies are willing to take on such a challenge. However, we are also seeing events like this become a trend in the age of increasing remote work.
The feedback we received throughout the event, and even way after returning back home to Berlin, was truly amazing. We really managed to elevate the nightlife experience for Sennder's Summer Camp this year, and it will be a tough challenge to top that next time.
